In reply to Inger. Your version sounds really good! Totally agree that you can use more seasoning. When I made the spice mix, I feel like I could have used more but it ends up in a weird measurement. You can always double it and use a little more, especially if you have other vegetables (you probably don't need all of them, but it's a nice spice mix that you can use for vegetable stir fries as well). We had leftover lamb shoulder and decided to take your recipe to the next level. So we made Sichuan Showarma with home-made pitas, cut-up lamb meat with onion, bell pepper and your seasoning, with chopped tomatoes and onions and your ‘lamburger sauce’! And it was good! Next time I would use more seasoning. There will be a next time 🙂

Absolutely fabulous burger Maggie! Lamb burgers are my favourite and these just came out perfectly- and that sauce is soooo good! I’ve been trying a bunch of your recipes and so far they’ve all been at least good, and probably the only reason I couldn’t say perfect is my lack of experience cooking Chinese cuisine. Next up is your sweet and sour fish which looks amazing!

These were mind blowingly good! So rich and delicous, such great flavor! I don’t think I’ll be doing beef burgers anymore, these were just terrific.
