Delicious and great cooking method! I use a light sherry in my teriyaki. It’s a Seattle thing and is a good substitute, too.

Enjoyed this for my lunch today. Healthy, fast and very tasty. My spring onion did burn a little so next time I will put all of it in a the end. Certainly will be a next time.

I was delighted to find this main-dish recipe for the big King Oyster mushrooms bought at our farmers’ market. It was easy to put together, fun to cook and delicious at the table. The only change I made was to put the sliced mushrooms into a zip bag with the marinade and turn it a few times to spread evenly. The texture of the cooked mushrooms was just right, with enough chew to use a knife and fork. (and too much chew for chopsticks, imo.)

This was my first time preparing oyster mushrooms at home and your directions were perfect. So incredibly simple, yet so impressive and delicious. I’m vegan and will definitely be turning to you for more recipes in the future 🙂
