You definitely can. When I use the same marinade twice, I usually bring the marinade to a boil one more time just to sanitize it.

Use Thai chili fresh for heat. I can’t get enough of the marinade – the anise really makes all the difference and transforms this dish into something special. Also added scallions, both green and white parts to the marinade and its chef’s kiss.

Yes, it’s like a cartouche in culinary. If you use parchment paper, it’s better, since the fibers from the towel will get into the egg marinade.

I usually leave the chili peppers in the marinade and it doesn’t really make it spicier (as long as you use mild dried chili peppers). But you can also fish them out if you’re concerned.
