Everyone I have made it for absolutely loves it!!!
I have played around with different proteins. I have to say chicken wings have been my favourite, but I do adore pork, accompanied with a pickled cucumber salad and plain steamed rice. Can’t go wrong.

It is quite tricky to cook this in the air fryer. I’ve tried several methods, but it always ended up over cooking the pork and not crisping up the surface properly.
If you really want to try it out, I would refer to this air fryer salt and pepper chicken recipe: https://omnivorescookbook.com/air-fryer-salt-and-pepper-chicken/
And also add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda into the marinade, and marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 1 hour. The baking soda tenderize the pork, and it will prevent it from over cooking too much.

It turned out great and can’t wait to make it again. Next time I might add a teaspoon of fresh ginger to the marinade.

Yes you can. I like to heat them up in the air fryer but you can also heat them up gently in the oven (use 350 F and do not over heat, so the inside won’t dry out)
